Theres a black relay on the stalk checked that,can here it working with the hazards on,and on the spare stalk :cool:

Had the stalk to pieces aswell cleaned all the contacts etc etc.[/quote]

I would check fusebox for the indicators fuse.

The hazard flashers should be on a seperate fuse / system as they will operate without ignition.

Indicators are fuse 23 in the glovebox fusebox. Will also have knocked out reverse lights if it is that

Was just coming on to say this is part of the problem :cool:
Fuse was dud replaced it everything working,Great i thought :dry: the problem now is whenever i reverse the fuse blows,everything works fine right up until the car is physically moving backwards even just a few inches and you can hear the fuse popping :bag:

Pull the wire off the gearbox switch and see if it stops the blowing

Defo reversing switch KO'd, unplugged it today-no reverse lights but then again the fuse didnt blow either :cool: :clap:

Is your switch the brown plastic plug that sits on the top of the gearbox housing?

Ive got one here although looking at it there is not a lot to it, if it is the problem then I'd say its more likely to be the wiring to it thats causing the problem but if you want to try it I can send it over.

i replaced mine on my v6 had to remove starter to get switch out

Couldnt really see the colour TBH but it is on top of the gearbox.
