i really like that 5 door in Green. just wish Ford actually had plans for this. i've never driven a mk4, but reckon that 2.5 litre 5 pot is not being used to its full potential in the Mondeo yet. and the Titanium X Sport pack doesn't look mean enough!

The 2.5 5 pot won't ever see it's full potential in the Mondeo, as it's getting ditched completely in the next couple of years, both in Mondeo and Focus in favour of the 2.0 turbo Ecoboost engine.

There was talk from ford of a 3.0 EcoBoost for the mondy glenn

now that would be interesting. however with everyone reducing engine capacity i think they will prob do the new 2.0 Ecoboost for it. would keep the weight down a bit i presume but i think the 3.0 mondeos have been and gone.

The 3.0 petrol ecoboost will probably find it's way into the Taurus across the pond, and maybe the Mondeo once the next gen launches over there but I doubt it'll find it's way into the Mondeo here as there isn't really a market for it here with the high fuel and VED costs.
