Imrc Test???

Loads of guys over on MEG have changed theirs.

If thats the problem changing the resistor and having moved it away from the heat should see it good for a good while

Anybody how to get the cable off the accuator under the throttle body,imrc unit toast,have to splash out and buy a new one :cens:

would be easier to remove the cable from the IMRC end of things.

No,sussed it out,had to remove battery,throttle body and induction kit/throttle linkage,the cable looked like it was part of the mechanism ,actually was easier,when i removed resistor inside imrc,found that some of the printed cicuit came away with it,so going to bite the bullet and splash out on a new one :cool:

Nice, reassurance at least if you get a new one.

It is possible just to replace the PCB with one from a second hand one to save taking it all out

Replacement unit fitted tonight,sport light wired up on dash,working perfectly. :cool:
