Assistance and Advice on Maintaining Mondeo Engines and Modifications

Help >.<

Postby Ninjoid on Tue 27 Jul, 2010 2:57 am

I recently got an induction kit for my mondy, not fitted it yet. And was wondering if I need anything else than what is in the picture. And would anybody be able to give me a step by step guide on how to do it? Thanks.

Edit: If it's possible, I'd like to have the kit fitted either Tuesday during the day or Wednesday during the day. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should end up looking like this, the only bit you will need from the original setup is the MAF sensor

And is it just a case of taking the MAF sensor and box filter out and slapping the kit on? Or is it slightly more complex?

Essentially that is it exactly. Remove the original airbox and then put your kit together as shown above.

The maf will slide over the rubber coupling at the end of the induction kit and then the other side over the rubber for the cone.

Only issue you mght come across is getting the neck on the filter to stretch over the MAF.

The blue hose goes into the breather at the back of the rocker cover
